The short answer, first
A Pocket Option bot does not make money by itself. An honest answer has three parts:
- The required line is fixed by the payout. A trade at, say, a 92% payout pays 0.92 against the 1.00 risked; the break-even success rate is set by that ratio, not by who presses the button. A bot executes rules; it does not move the required line.
- No bot setting we have measured has cleared that line over large samples. Our own Martingale measurement (2026-09-11, large samples) came in around a 43–44% success rate — below the ~52.1% break-even for a 92% payout. Those measured samples lost money. We say that plainly rather than publishing a flattering number.
- What a bot genuinely provides is execution: consistent rule-following on a schedule, settings synced across devices, and a complete trade history for review. Execution is useful. It is not an edge upgrade.

What the payout number means — and why break-even sits above 50%
In binary options you risk a fixed stake per trade. A win gains the payout percentage (e.g. 92% → you gain 0.92 per 1.00 risked); a loss costs the full 1.00. Break-even — the share of trades you must win for expected value exactly zero — is:
break-even = 1 / (1 + payout%)

The practical takeaway: at realistic payouts, the required line is ~52–56% of trades. A strategy whose long-run success rate sits below that line loses money — slowly at first, then all at once. If someone shows you a single-day screenshot of a bot's trade history, ask what the success rate has been over months of trades at actual payout levels, because the screenshot tells you almost nothing.
What success rate should you actually expect?
Honesty rule: success rate varies by market conditions, currency pair, timeframe, payout, and settings — which is exactly why we publish no single number on our site. Our own measurement (2026-09-11, large samples, Martingale mode) came in around 43–44%, below the break-even line for the payout levels measured. Two consequences follow:
- Past performance of any bot, including ours, is not a prediction of the future. Markets that paid off one quarter did not promise to pay off the next.
- The number that matters is the break-even line for the payout you actually receive, not any marketing headline. Check the payout on your own pair and timeframe before running anything real.
Why Martingale makes the math harder, not easier
Martingale raises the stake after each loss to recoup the cycle. Cost of a full losing cycle, as a multiple of the base stake:

A seven-step losing streak at triple stakes costs the equivalent of 1,093 base stakes; a losing streak can wipe out a balance quickly. That is the real risk of Martingale. Capping the number of Martingale steps is the mitigation — the bot has no separate stop-loss or daily-loss-limit setting, and limiting steps is the only built-in way to bound a losing streak. Test on a demo account before real money.
Where a bot genuinely helps — and where it does not
Useful things automation provides: consistent execution of your chosen rules on a schedule, no fatigue or hesitation between trades, synced settings, and full trade history for review. What it does not provide: a success rate above the break-even line, or protection from losing streaks. If a listing or a reviewer implies the bot moves the break-even line for you, weigh that claim against the arithmetic above — no product configuration changes the ratio between what a win pays and what a loss costs.
How to test — demo first

- Run the bot on your Pocket Option demo account for several days, across pairs and timeframes. Record the actual success rate at the actual payout you see.
- Compare that number against the break-even table above. Below the line, do not move to real money — no configuration changes that ratio.
- If you proceed anyway: cap Martingale steps so the worst-case cycle cost stays trivial against your balance, size base stakes accordingly, and survive a full capped cycle before adding any size.
- Keep the Pocket Option tab visible while the bot trades; a background or minimised tab can delay trade-result detection.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't any bot guarantee a fixed success rate?
Because the ratio between the win payout and the loss cost is fixed by the broker's payout percentage, and no execution setting changes it. Our own large-sample Martingale measurement (2026-09-11) sat around 43–44% — below break-even — and we publish that number instead of a flattering one.
Why is break-even at 52.1% instead of 50%?
Because the losing side costs the full stake while the winning side pays only the payout percentage. At a 92% payout you gain 0.92 per win but lose 1.00 per loss, so you need 1/(1+0.92) ≈ 52.1% of trades won to break even. Lower payouts push the line higher still.
Is Martingale safer with more steps?
No — more steps means a larger maximum cycle cost (31× base at five steps with 2x multipliers; 1,093× at seven steps with 3x). Fewer steps mean smaller worst-case exposure. The bot pauses automatically when the next stake would exceed your balance.
Will Pocket Option ban me for using a bot?
Pocket Option's own blog says users can utilize automated strategies as long as they comply with platform rules; it does not specifically name third-party extensions, and that statement is their blog, not their formal Terms of Service. Do not treat either “safe” or “banned” as confirmed.
