What a Martingale bot does on any platform
A Martingale bot follows one rule in every market: after a losing trade it raises the next stake (typically doubling it), and after a winning trade it resets to the starting amount. On MT5, on a crypto exchange or on a binary-options platform the loop is the same. What differs is what a win pays back, and whether that payout is fixed in advance.
How a fixed payout changes the maths
When the payout is below 100%, a win after a losing streak does not recover a full base stake. At a 92% payout with a 2x multiplier: lose 1, lose 2, then win on a stake of 4, which pays 4 × 0.92 = 3.68. Losses were 1 + 2 = 3, so the cycle nets +0.68 of a base stake, not +1.
Because the payout is fixed, the cost of a full losing cycle is a fixed multiple of the base stake, known before you trade. In Avalisa’s panel, Steps = N allows N + 1 trades in a losing cycle:
| Panel Steps | 2x multiplier | 3x multiplier |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 7× | 13× |
| 3 | 15× | 40× |
| 4 | 31× | 121× |
| 5 | 63× | 364× |
| 6 | 127× | 1,093× |
The full treatment, including break-even, is in Martingale risk explained, and the Martingale calculator checks your own step count and multiplier.
What a cap means on Avalisa
On Avalisa, limiting the Martingale Steps setting is the only cap on a losing streak — there is no separate stop-loss or daily-loss-limit setting. Steps can be a number or Infinite; when the next stake would exceed the balance, the bot pauses. Avalisa works on Pocket Option only, on Demo and Real accounts, and places trades the same way on both, so a demo run shows what your cap does before any real money. If you would rather not use the doubling structure, read trading without Martingale.
Variable-outcome markets: where the fixed table stops applying
On MT5, forex or a crypto exchange, the size of a win depends on how far price moved, so there is no fixed payout and no cycle-cost multiple to look up beforehand. The doubling still compounds losses the same way — a long losing streak still consumes a geometric series of stakes — but each win’s recovery varies trade by trade, so the table above does not transfer. Fixed payouts also give a fixed break-even win rate of 1 / (1 + p): 52.1% at a 92% payout. Variable markets need their own position sizing and risk limits.
Frequently asked questions
Does the cycle-cost table apply to my MT5 or crypto bot?
No. It applies where the payout per trade is fixed in advance, as on a fixed-payout binary-options platform. Variable-outcome markets have no fixed multiple to check.
Is there a stop-loss setting on Avalisa?
No. Limiting Martingale Steps is the only cap on a losing streak; there is no separate stop-loss or daily-loss-limit setting.
Can I test a capped setup before using real money?
Yes. Avalisa runs on Pocket Option Demo accounts as well as Real ones, with the same trade logic and the same Steps cap.
Risk statement
Martingale raises the stake after every loss, and a losing streak can wipe out a balance. Binary options are high risk. Use only money you can afford to lose. Trading involves risk. Avalisa does not guarantee profits. Start on a demo account.
Try it on demo first
Install Avalisa PO Bot from the Chrome Web Store and test on a demo account before real money. The free Demo plan includes 10 Martingale trades; Basic is $69 one-time; Pro is $119 one-time or $29/month (a recurring subscription) — see pricing.
