Why the Trading Tab Must Stay Visible

A browser-extension bot can only see what your Pocket Option tab shows. Here is why background tabs cause late results, and how to avoid it.

The bot watches the page you have open

Avalisa PO Bot is a Chrome extension. It does not trade from a server somewhere else: it works inside the Pocket Option page in your own browser. It reads that page, places trades through it, and watches each result appear on it. If the page stops updating, the bot cannot see what happened.

Browsers save power by slowing down tabs you are not looking at — background tabs and minimised windows run their scripts less often. That is why a background or minimised Pocket Option tab can delay trade-result detection.

Why a late result matters

Your trades still run and close on Pocket Option’s side. The problem is only that the bot learns the result late. In Martingale mode that matters most, because the next stake depends on whether the last trade won or lost. To avoid sizing a step on a result it never saw, the bot waits: if it cannot see an order’s result within 60 seconds after you press Stop, it marks the order as unresolved and asks you to check your Pocket Option history before starting again.

Martingale multiplies the stake after each loss, and a losing streak can wipe out a balance — keep your Steps limited. Steps = N allows N + 1 trades in a losing cycle; at 2x, Steps 3 costs 15 times the base stake.

How to keep the tab visible

  1. Keep the Pocket Option tab as the active tab in its window. Browse other sites in a separate window.
  2. Do not minimise that window while the bot is running.
  3. Stop your computer sleeping. A sleeping or locked computer pauses the browser. Extend display and sleep timers while a session runs, and do not close a laptop lid on a running session.
  4. On a phone, use the webapp bot instead and keep the screen on, for the same reason.
  5. Before you walk away, check: tab open and active, window not minimised, computer will not sleep. Or simply press Stop.

If the panel and your account disagree

  1. Press Stop in the bot panel.
  2. Open your Pocket Option trade history and confirm every order has closed.
  3. Reload the Pocket Option tab so the extension starts from a clean page.
  4. Start again with the tab visible. If it keeps happening, email a screenshot of the panel and your trade history to avalisapobot@gmail.com.

Risk statement

Keeping the tab visible is about reliability, not results: it changes nothing about what the market does. Trading binary options is high risk; only trade money you can afford to lose. Trading involves risk. Avalisa does not guarantee profits. Start on a demo account.

Frequently asked questions

Can I leave the bot running overnight?

Only if the computer stays awake with the tab visible — a sleeping or locked computer pauses the browser. If you will not be there, press Stop.

Is switching tabs as bad as minimising?

Both put the page in the background, and either can delay result detection. Keep the Pocket Option tab active.

Does this behave differently on demo and real accounts?

No. The extension places trades the same way on both; it only reads whichever balance is active. That makes demo the right place to check your setup.
